Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized therapy programs aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and maximizing physical function, guided by each patient's unique medical conditions and rehabilitation goals.
• Oversee the treatment plans executed by Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring fidelity to the care strategies prescribed.
• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' functional abilities using advanced diagnostic and prognostic testing methods, forming a foundation for targeted therapy interventions.
• Assess and adjust home environments to determine necessary modifications for enhancing patient independence and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Administer a range of physical therapy interventions, including manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and other modalities that leverage physical agents to optimize recovery.
• Evaluate, fit, and recommend orthotic and prosthetic devices in coordination with physicians, ensuring that patients receive the best-suited aids for their needs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of patient treatment plans by actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and care conferences.
• Prepare meticulous clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date for regulatory compliance.
• Consult with patients and their families to provide explanations of therapy methods, equipment usage, and effective techniques they can apply at home.
• Supervise and instruct Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of therapy services, ensuring they are prepared to deliver care in alignment with established guidelines.
• Maintain convenient access for Physical Therapy Assistants, providing support and direction when needed to enhance the quality of services provided.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
