Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern outpatient office, where you will work closely with a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists. Our facility is designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and supported during their healing journey. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy by managing the full therapeutic process for an assigned caseload, collaborating with physicians and the patient care team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to support the development and implementation of individualized care plans focused on achieving therapeutic goals and enhancing patient engagement.
• Administer evaluations and therapeutic interventions in accordance with the established scope of practice and ethical standards, ensuring effective treatment for a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
• Perform functional status evaluations and contribute to the formulation of the total plan of care, adapting as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care at patients' homes when applicable, utilizing procedures and methodologies aligned with the physician's treatment plan.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on the use of therapeutic exercises, appliances, and devices for use outside of therapy sessions, fostering independence and promoting ongoing rehabilitation.
• Prioritize a balanced caseload and coordinate staffing needs, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal team dynamics throughout the day.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will specifically focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and function. You will engage with a diverse patient demographic, from young athletes requiring rehabilitation to older adults recovering from joint replacements. Your contributions will directly impact their recovery experience and overall health outcomes, requiring sensitivity, empathy, and a thorough understanding of each patient's unique challenges.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be completed within the first 30 days of employment.
• No prior experience is required, making this an ideal opportunity for new graduates eager to kickstart their careers in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is a plus, but not mandatory.

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
