We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center in Fresno, California. We pride ourselves on using evidence-based treatment methods within a state-of-the-art, 5000 square foot facility equipped for sports medicine rehabilitation. Our focus is primarily on serving clients with private medical insurance, ensuring tailored treatments that empower individuals to manage their health effectively.

Work Environment

Your role will be onsite at our Fresno facility, collaborating closely with a small, specialized team that includes two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). You will enjoy regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' needs, goals, and limitations, ensuring personalized care strategies.
• Manage a designated caseload, typically engaging with one patient per hour to deliver focused treatment sessions.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that contribute significantly to patients' recovery and rehabilitation.
• Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate varied techniques tailored to individual patient conditions.
• Utilize cost-effective methods to enhance patients' mobility, aiming to reduce reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgeries.
• Design custom fitness and wellness programs aimed at elevating each patient's strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient services and progress, facilitating open communication within the healthcare team.
• Inspire and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey to achieve optimal functional outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily consist of active individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Many seek recovery from sports injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that affect their mobility and physical activity. Your expertise will allow you to cater to a diverse demographic of patients, providing you with a rich and rewarding practice experience that highlights the importance of physical therapy in overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current and valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary history affecting licensure.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques relevant to orthopedic conditions.
• Exceptional competence in crafting and implementing targeted exercise protocols.
• Ability to navigate electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ideally with experience using WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team context, contributing to cohesive patient care.
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain treatment plans and motivate patients throughout their recovery process.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
