Vitality Empower Physical Therapy is seeking a committed and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic outpatient practice in Fresno, California. As a full-time PT, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients toward improved movement and functionality, providing compassionate and specialized care that aligns with their health goals. Our practice is owned and managed by licensed physical therapists, which ensures that all treatment methodologies are rooted in best practices and patient-centric care. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional services primarily to individuals with private medical insurance, emphasizing quality and thoroughness over quantity in our patient interactions. As a member of our intimate team of healthcare professionals, including two physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will be integral in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

Work Environment

This full-time role requires working onsite in our outpatient office, from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The setting offers a collaborative environment where each team member contributes to creating personalized, holistic treatment plans. Our facility is equipped with modern tools and resources essential for effective diagnosis, rehabilitation, and ongoing therapy, ensuring you provide the best care possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' needs, limitations, and goals.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure focused attention.
• Deliver a wide range of physical therapy interventions with a focus on orthopedic care.
• Develop individualized treatment and exercise plans that promote optimal recovery and enhance mobility.
• Implement cost-effective methods aimed at improving patients' physical capabilities while advocating alternative options to surgical interventions.
• Educate patients on their diagnosis, prognosis, and the benefits of their therapeutic exercises to foster engagement and motivation.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to improve patient outcomes effectively.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver a comprehensive care approach, ensuring each patient receives tailored and coordinated treatment.
• Document all patient encounters and treatment plans accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Assess progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid and active California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions or board issues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Experience with EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with fitness and wellness program development to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
