Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite, directly engaging with patients in our outpatient office. Within this enthusiastic environment, you will interact with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality care and supporting each other in achieving shared goals. Our clinic primarily serves patients with private health insurance, allowing for focused attention on their recovery without administrative overload. The work schedule is convenient, with hours from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer direct patient care by evaluating, designing, and implementing treatment plans in alignment with referrals from physicians or qualified healthcare practitioners.
• Conduct thorough assessments utilizing a variety of evaluation techniques to determine patient needs accurately and promptly.
• Develop individualized treatment programs aimed at achieving rehabilitation goals and improving patients' overall physical function.
• Monitor and document patient progress carefully, adapting treatment methods as necessary based on real-time evaluations of patient tolerance and response.
• Adhere to established departmental emergency procedures to ensure patient safety, particularly during critical situations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in line with clinic policies to support effective patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives by participating in chart reviews and providing input on departmental practices.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, attending family meetings and discussions to ensure holistic management of each patient's care.
• Perform additional duties as required, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a diverse array of individuals, primarily covered by private insurance, focusing on orthopedic conditions and musculoskeletal injuries. You will have the opportunity to work closely with athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, as well as patients in need of rehabilitation after surgery or trauma. This varied clientele will allow you to employ a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of California, with no history of disciplinary action.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques; strong skills in developing and implementing effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT, ensuring efficient patient documentation and data retrieval.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in orthopedic physical therapy, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills, especially in interacting with patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Proven track record in enhancing patient care through collaborative teamwork and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off.
