Locomotion Restore Physical Therapist Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist for a full-time position in Fresno, California. At Locomotion Restore, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing exceptional physical therapy services through a patient-centered approach. Our team includes two experienced physical therapists and a talented physical therapy assistant (PTA) who work collaboratively in a well-equipped 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility. We focus primarily on patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that we offer a comprehensive suite of orthopedic outpatient services tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Work Environment

This position is exclusively onsite in Fresno, CA, within a dynamic home care setting that allows for personalized patient interaction. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, contributing to a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that emphasizes both professional development and exceptional patient care. The facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources, ensuring that you have everything necessary to deliver high-quality therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations and clearly define treatment goals that align with their objectives.
• Manage a patient caseload and allocate 1-on-1 care sessions, allowing for individualized attention and tailored treatment approaches.
• Employ a range of treatment and rehabilitation techniques aimed at reducing pain, increasing mobility, and enhancing overall physical function.
• Develop personalized care plans utilizing evidence-based practices to promote patient recovery effectively.
• Implement fitness and wellness programs designed specifically to meet the unique requirements of each patient.
• Encourage patients throughout their therapy journey, providing motivation and support to facilitate progress in their functional abilities.
• Work closely with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to comprehensive patient care.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, including WebPT, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The primary patient demographic includes individuals seeking orthopedic care, typically with private medical insurance. You will work with patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehab, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your role is critical in helping them enhance their mobility, restore their functional capacity, and promote a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program and possess an active Physical Therapist license in California.
• No recorded instances of board actions or disciplinary measures on your PT license.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to facilitate efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient care environment is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in delivering cost-effective therapeutic solutions focused on non-invasive treatment options.
• Proven ability to foster strong patient relationships and encourage adherence to treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000, commensurate with experience.
