Located in the heart of Fresno, our practice is dedicated to serving patients primarily with private medical insurance. Work Environment

You will be working onsite in a dynamic rehabilitation center equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic tools. The facility promotes a collaborative atmosphere, where you'll be surrounded by two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) who share a commitment to patient care. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each patient to identify their unique goals and treatment requirements.
• Manage a caseload by treating one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and tailored interventions.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based treatment methodologies to restore functional mobility and alleviate pain.
• Focus on developing individualized care plans that incorporate relevant therapies and exercises aimed at improving patient outcomes.
• Provide patient education on the importance of active participation in their rehabilitation journey, including pain management techniques that may reduce the need for medications or surgical intervention.
• Design and deliver customized fitness and wellness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring thorough communication with all healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
• Encourage patients through motivational strategies and assist them in overcoming barriers to recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary patients will be individuals seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions. By utilizing a patient-centered approach, your work will directly impact their recovery, allowing them to return to the activities they love and improve their quality of life. By working in partnership with your patients, you'll play a key role in empowering them to take control of their health.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a current and valid California state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintain a clean professional record, demonstrating no history of disciplinary actions.
• Exhibit proficiency in manual therapy techniques relevant to orthopedic cases.
• Demonstrate the ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Be comfortable using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified applicants will be considered, we prefer candidates who have prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches is highly beneficial, as is any experience with sports rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
