Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our outpatient facility in Cape Coral, where our team collaborates closely to deliver a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation. Our therapists work Monday to Friday, providing a structured yet flexible schedule that allows you to choose your own hours to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients to determine their physical therapy needs and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of various therapeutic modalities to facilitate recovery post-injury or surgery.
• Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly, adjusting treatment plans based on the patient's evolving needs and responses to therapy.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding prescribed exercises and proper body mechanics to improve function and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to enhance the overall treatment approach and outcomes.
• Stay engaged in professional development through workshops, training, and networking to expand clinical knowledge and skills.
• Assist patients in becoming proficient with assistive devices, if needed, to support their rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical practice standards in all patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve at Viability Physical Therapy include a diverse age range from children to seniors, encompassing various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. You will have the opportunity to work closely with each individual, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs and challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Florida.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficient in basic computer applications and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• A commitment to providing compassionate care while staying current on best practices in physical therapy.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and workflows.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, new graduates with a strong educational background and enthusiasm for physical therapy are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in an outpatient setting is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to your base salary, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
