Family First Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (DPT) to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will play a critical part in patient rehabilitation, guiding individuals on their journey to regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite, providing a collaborative atmosphere where two seasoned physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) work closely to deliver the highest quality of care. Operating from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, our environment fosters teamwork, mutual support, and continuous improvement to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Family First Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and addressing each patient's individual goals and needs, developing personalized treatment plans that facilitate recovery.
• Managing a focused patient caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for dedicated one-on-one therapy sessions.
• Utilizing evidence-based techniques to provide cost-effective treatments that enhance patients' mobility and quality of life.
• Reducing dependence on medications by offering alternative therapies while also minimizing the necessity for surgical interventions.
• Creating comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment modalities.
• Designing and implementing tailored fitness and wellness programs aligned with each patient's unique circumstances.
• Delivering high-quality, individualized care supported by proven interventions, guiding patients to attain their functional goals.
• Motivating patients throughout their treatment journey and encouraging lifestyle changes that foster strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaboratively consulting with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Evaluating treatment effectiveness, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining thorough documentation of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses primarily on orthopedic outpatient care, treating individuals who are seeking rehabilitation due to sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The opportunity allows you to work with a diverse clientele, including active individuals aiming to maintain or reclaim their mobility, thereby significantly impacting their daily lives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of physical therapy principles.
• Exceptional competency in developing effective exercise and rehabilitation protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, to maintain efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with at least two years of experience, particularly in orthopedic outpatient settings, will be given preference. Proven success in implementing therapeutic exercise protocols and effective communication skills with patients and team members is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Family First Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
