Work Environment

You will work onsite at our rehabilitation facility, which features modern treatment rooms and dynamic therapy spaces facilitating individual and group therapies. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing you with a schedule that allows for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to identify their individual goals and needs, forming the basis for personalized therapy plans.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour while delivering high-quality, focused care.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic techniques, ensuring both safety and effectiveness.
• Provide education and support to patients on their treatment plans, emphasizing the importance of self-management and active participation in their recovery.
• Help patients achieve physical wellness by enhancing strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance, while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate overall patient care and therapeutic approaches.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, utilizing EMR software such as WebPT to maintain accurate and accessible records.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment for optimal functional outcomes, focusing on long-term health benefits.
• Implement cost-effective interventions to minimize dependency on medications and explore non-surgical alternatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary patient population will include individuals suffering from a range of orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will work closely with patients to develop custom rehabilitation plans that are aimed at restoring their functionality and improving their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active California state licensure as a Physical Therapist, with no current board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Proficiency in designing effective exercise programs that align with individual patient needs.
• Experience using EMR software, specifically WebPT, for accurate documentation and data tracking.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Previous involvement in team-based care coordination is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
