Work Environment

This role is situated onsite at our dedicated rehabilitation center in Bakersfield, a vibrant city known for its rich agricultural history and community spirit. The center is equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic equipment, providing you with the tools necessary to deliver high-quality care. Our typical work week spans Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the needs and objectives of each patient.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused, individualized attention.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise programs to enhance patient mobility and strength.
• Document treatment sessions accurately in an electronic medical record (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients on fitness and wellness strategies tailored to their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Encourage patient motivation through regular feedback and supportive communication.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate in continuous learning to stay informed of advanced physical therapy practices and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic predominantly serves individuals undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to provide advanced clinical care.
• A valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of California.
• No disciplinary actions or board issues on record with the licensing board.

• Skilled in using EMR software for streamlined patient management.

Preferred Experience
