Key Responsibilities

• Administer individualized physical therapy interventions to alleviate pain, promote healing, and restore mobility, ensuring alignment with each patient's specific treatment plan.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in executing prescribed therapeutic activities while ensuring adherence to clinical best practices.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and environmental factors to inform tailored rehabilitation strategies.
• Evaluate the need for and recommend home modifications that improve independence and functionality for clients.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like traction and massage, to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in case conferences to contribute insights for comprehensive treatment planning and evaluating patient progress.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in accordance with legal and organizational standards, ensuring timely submissions and confidentiality of patient information.
• Educate patients and their families on the use of therapy devices and self-care practices to promote ongoing recovery.
• Participate in regular training and development opportunities to stay current with industry standards and advances in physical therapy practice.
• Fulfill additional duties that align with organizational objectives and support quality patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele served by our Rehabilitation Center includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and those requiring rehabilitation post-hospitalization. Our therapists focus on fostering a strong therapist-client rapport to tailor treatment approaches that maximize recovery and improve quality of life for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active Physical Therapist licensure in California.
• Current certification in CPR.
• Valid driver's license with applicable automobile insurance.
• 1+ year of experience in an acute care or home health setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, integrity, and providing high-quality patient care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in developing innovative treatment solutions.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation practices.
• Prior involvement in community outreach programs or patient education initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
