Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility, where you'll collaborate daily with a tight-knit team of physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant. Your regular working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the needs of patients and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Manage an efficient patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and attention to each individual.
• Utilize a diverse range of evidence-based treatment techniques to enhance mobility and function.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Diligently document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Motivate and encourage patients to engage actively in their treatment to maximize functional recovery.
• Promote wellness through strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination improvement programs tailored to individual goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with patients seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Your role is essential in not only addressing their physical limitations but also in educating them about their conditions and empowering them to participate in their healing process. By fostering positive relationships, you'll build trust with patients, increasing their motivation and engagement in recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• An impeccable professional record with no disciplinary measures or board actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient practice is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and conducting individualized exercise regimens for various patient populations.
• Experience navigating electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
