Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' individual goals, movement limitations, and functional outcomes to tailor personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, providing one-on-one therapy sessions with a frequency of one patient per hour.
• Employ a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance patients' range of motion and functional abilities.
• Develop innovative care plans that utilize evidence-based approaches, integrating multiple treatment techniques to optimize patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises, ensuring they understand their role in the rehabilitation process.
• Track and evaluate patient progress using various metrics, modifying treatment plans when necessary to meet their evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, treatment services, and progress notes in accordance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, instilling confidence and promoting an active lifestyle.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in physical therapy by pursuing continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and workplace accidents. Our diverse patient population includes adolescents, adults, and seniors, all requiring a tailored approach to rehabilitation. You will be instrumental in helping them regain independence and improve their overall functionality.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Demonstrated history of maintaining a professional record devoid of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with a focus on orthopedic applications.
• Exceptional skills in creating effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with modalities and therapeutic techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Track record of successfully reducing patients' reliance on medications through therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits
