Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized care to patients based on their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain an effective patient case load, ensuring that each patient receives focused attention and tailored interventions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to devise and implement comprehensive treatment plans that promote recovery and mobility.
• Advocate for evidence-based and cost-effective interventions, emphasizing non-surgical options to reduce reliance on medications.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness plans that align with patients' recovery objectives and lifestyle goals.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage patients in their rehabilitation journey, motivating them throughout their treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will work closely with a diverse patient demographic, ensuring that each treatment plan is culturally sensitive and tailored to their specific lifestyle and recovery needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California, demonstrating a clean professional record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of orthopedic physical therapy practices.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to streamline documentation.
• Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with the latest developments in physical therapy methodologies.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings will be considered an advantage, along with a track record of developing effective rehabilitation plans and demonstrated skill in motivating patients for better engagement in their recovery process.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, from $100,000 to $120,000 annually based on experience.
