Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote working opportunity, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our supportive virtual team. Our work schedules are designed to accommodate the needs of our clients, primarily operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility as required. As part of our collaborative approach, you will engage regularly with fellow team members through virtual meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and specific needs.

• Develop and implement custom treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience in clients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, incorporating methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, utilize effective coping strategies, and engage in their healing journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and cohesive care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for clients during critical trauma-related situations.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintain precise and confidential records in accordance with regulatory and ethical guidelines.

• Actively participate in team discussions and case reviews to enhance team cohesion and promote best practices for trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma and are struggling with mental health issues such as PTSD, anxiety, and dissociative disorders. Your empathetic and skilled approach will be fundamental in helping them navigate their challenges and regain a sense of control over their lives. You will play a vital role in supporting clients from varied backgrounds and ensuring that they have the tools and understanding necessary to move towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Licensure Requirements: Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Skills: Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care methods, combined with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.
\n
• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.

Preferred Experience\n

Two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred. Familiarity with trauma-focused therapy techniques, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT, is strongly desired. Compensation and Benefits\n
