Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your own schedule while meeting the needs of your clients. The virtual setting permits you to conduct therapy sessions via secure video conferencing, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Our outpatient office model is designed to facilitate your engagement with clients while maintaining a structured support system for therapy delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, to effectively address and alleviate behavioral and emotional challenges.

• Utilize crisis management and de-escalation techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of clients experiencing acute distress or crises.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with agency standards and regulations.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other specialists, to provide well-rounded, comprehensive care to all clients.

• Provide direct therapy services to individuals with a diverse range of mental health diagnoses, adapting approaches to meet varying clinical presentations.
\n
• Carry a caseload of at least five therapy sessions per week, with the potential for more based on availability and client needs.

Your work will focus on individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological challenges. You will engage with a diverse demographic, respecting and addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of every client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).

• Possession of an independent license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in using diagnostic tools and coding systems such as ICD-9 and ICD-10 for accurate assessment and billing practices.

• Solid clinical skills with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with clients to foster successful therapeutic relationships.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities to engage with clients and collaborate with other professionals.

• A passion for mental health and a commitment to ongoing professional development, including seeking supervision and additional training as appropriate.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience utilizing crisis intervention techniques and handling crisis situations effectively.

• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling best practices is preferred.

• Previous experience working with diverse patient populations and understanding cultural sensitivities.
