Within our facility, you will work alongside a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, fostering a collaborative atmosphere aimed at achieving superior patient outcomes.

Work Environment

Operating from our modern rehabilitation facility in Sacramento, the work environment promotes physical wellness, professional development, and teamwork. You will engage in patient care within a facility that prioritizes innovative rehabilitation techniques and effective therapeutic interventions. The position requires full-time commitment, with a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance while serving the needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs by conducting thorough evaluations and recognizing their objectives and requirements.
• Manage a patient load designed for quality interactions, averaging one patient per hour for optimal individualized care.
• Design and implement effective, cost-efficient therapies aimed at enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Propose non-surgical alternatives and minimize reliance on medications through evidence-based interventions.
• Create comprehensive treatment plans combining various therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs and progress of each patient.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs focusing on improving patients' strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout the rehabilitation process, enhancing their engagement and drive to achieve personal health goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and treatment strategies.
• Monitor therapy outcomes, assess patient progress, and maintain clear and effective communication regarding treatment plans and adaptations.
• Accurately document all services provided to maintain compliance and enhance the quality of care delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from those recovering from orthopedic injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation following surgery. We serve a diverse clientele, with a primary focus on patients holding private medical insurance. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in California with no record of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic outpatient care is essential.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design and implementation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, ideally within a similar rehabilitation facility.
• A demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive treatment planning and execution that improves patient mobility and overall health.
• Evidence of strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
