Work Environment

This position involves delivering onsite care as part of our home health services. You will visit patients in the comfort of their own homes, allowing for a personalized and comfortable therapy experience. Our clinic values flexibility and teamwork, and our full-time therapists typically work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM. Each therapist supports a manageable caseload, ensuring focused and high-quality interactions with each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and specific needs.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour, providing dedicated attention to their therapy process.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative rehabilitation techniques.
• Deliver cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing clients' mobility and functional abilities while reducing reliance on medications.
• Foster a supportive therapeutic relationship, encouraging and motivating patients throughout their treatment journeys.
• Measure and document patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment approach that addresses all facets of patient wellness.
• Provide education to patients on physical health topics, emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle, including strength training, flexibility exercises, and balance improvement.
• Utilize EMR software like WebPT for documentation and care coordination, ensuring compliance and streamlined patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of adults recovering from orthopedic injuries or conditions. You will encounter a diverse range of cases, from those undergoing post-operative rehabilitation to individuals managing chronic musculoskeletal issues. Emotional support and patient education are crucial components of our care philosophy, empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and the design/implementation of exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Experience using electronic medical records systems, specifically WebPT, for effective clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
• A history of effective patient interactions and successful treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our team members' financial, health, and work-life balance goals.
