Insightful Motion Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be a vital partner in alleviating pain and restoring mobility for our patients, emphasizing their journey towards improved quality of life. Working onsite in a home care setting, you will employ a variety of treatment techniques to provide personalized therapeutic care to each individual, fostering their physical well-being and mobility improvement.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work directly with patients in the comfort of their homes, primarily from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. This onsite setting allows therapists to build meaningful rapport with their patients while adjusting treatment plans based on real-time observations and interactions. You will engage actively with patients, equipping them to achieve significant improvements in mobility and function.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and define the objectives and specific needs of each patient through comprehensive evaluations.
• Maintain an effective patient load, typically managing one patient per hour to ensure personalized care and attention.
• Deliver and document treatment plans that encompass cost-effective therapeutic approaches directed at restoring and improving range of motion and mobility.
• Utilize innovative therapeutic techniques and exercises tailored to each patient's condition to minimize reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Encourage, motivate, and support patients throughout their treatment processes, helping them optimize their functional capabilities.
• Promote a sustainable healthy lifestyle by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among clients.
• Conduct regular reviews and outcomes assessments, maintaining open lines of communication with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Keep accurate records of all services provided, in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients span various demographics, often presenting with orthopedic issues requiring specialized rehabilitation. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic pain conditions, and patients requiring rehabilitation after injuries. As a Physical Therapist, your role is crucial in creating tailored fitness and wellness programs that address the diverse needs of each patient, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree (MPT or DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions on your professional license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in creating effective exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, providing you with hands-on tools to excel in patient care.
• A background in administering therapies aimed at enhancing clients' mobility and overall function.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that encompasses health, dental, and vision insurance, alongside an on-demand pay program.
