Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic injuries or conditions, utilizing clinical assessments, patient histories, and physical exams to inform treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and manual therapies.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring all treatment metrics are captured to aid in the ongoing reevaluation of therapeutic goals.
• Adapt treatment methods based on patient responses and progress, ensuring optimal care delivery and patient satisfaction.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and supplementary therapeutic exercises to empower them in their recovery process.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through educational workshops and peer collaboration, maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes a diverse range of patients from children recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals undergoing rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries. This role requires a hands-on approach to understand the specific needs and restore the functional capabilities of each individual, enhancing their overall quality of life and independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and word processing software.
• A commitment to maintaining professional development and staying current with best practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in an orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Experience in utilizing innovative treatment approaches and technologies in rehabilitation is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
