Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of children and families.

• Collaborate with families in developing and implementing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring they are tailored to the specific developmental needs of the child.

• Monitor and oversee progress towards goals as part of a collaborative team, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.

• Provide ongoing support, education, and resources to families, equipping them with skills to facilitate their child's growth and development.
\n
• Maintain adherence to all federal and state regulations and guidelines in the execution of the role.

• Foster strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, creating an environment conducive to learning and development.

• Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with the Natural Learning Environment practices, adapting methodologies to suit diverse learning styles.

• Implement and monitor service frequency recommendations based on individual family circumstances and the child’s developmental stage.

• Employ a coaching approach during interventions to educate families in natural settings, promoting practical learning and engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily engaged in providing services to infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays residing within the San Francisco area. This includes working closely with families to navigate the challenges they face and offering tailored interventions to improve developmental outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering the emotional and social well-being of young children, ensuring that they have the tools needed to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active license issued by the California Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Possession of a valid driver’s license to facilitate travel for home visits if needed.

Compensation and Benefits\n
