Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gain a deep understanding of each client's unique challenges, strengths, and support systems when they enter the detox program.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing tailored to the needs of our clients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in crafting and refining individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with clients' recovery goals and needs.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that focus on recovery skills, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments, offering immediate support to clients in acute distress, ensuring their ongoing safety and well-being.
• Utilize telehealth platforms for sessions, maintaining adherence to HIPAA regulations and ensuring effective communication with clients through digital channels.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required to ensure a strong foundation in clinical practices.
• The candidate must hold an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to practice independently.
• At least two years of experience in mental health or outpatient settings, particularly working with individuals with substance use disorders.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, coupled with superb interpersonal and communication skills to connect with clients effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a detox or rehabilitation center is preferred but not mandatory; however, familiarity with addiction recovery principles will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
