Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to deliver care from the comfort of your home. As part of a community health clinic dedicated to enhancing mental health quality of life, you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule while adhering to core business hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Our operations team ensures that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently, allowing you to focus purely on providing exemplary care to clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough virtual assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health status and substance use history, establishing an accurate baseline for treatment.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions focused on cognitive behavioral techniques and group therapy sessions that encourage shared experiences and peer support.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to implement integrated care plans that address a full spectrum of client needs.

• Educate and involve clients' families in the therapeutic process, fostering a supportive environment conducive to recovery.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring patient confidentiality throughout.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role primarily focuses on supporting adolescents and young adults, a demographic that often faces unique mental health challenges in today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world. You will engage with clients who are seeking support for a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders, employing a compassionate and understanding approach to promote their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• Active state licensure in California as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD is essential to practice.

• Demonstrated experience providing telehealth therapy, particularly with a focus on clients aged 12 to 25.

• Strong tech-savvy skills, with advanced proficiency in utilizing computer applications (including Google Suite and Electronic Health Records) to support telehealth practices.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.
\n
• A professional appearance and demeanor that aligns with Duality’s commitment to high standards of care.

• Empathic engagement skills, allowing you to develop rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, specifically in a remote or telehealth environment.

• Familiarity with and willingness to undergo training in the organization’s specific evidence-based treatment frameworks, known as care pathways.

• Comfort in maintaining patient confidentiality while working from home, ensuring a reliable internet connection and a private workspace.
