Physical Therapist - Rehab Facility

Position Overview Viability Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation facility team in Dulles, Virginia. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in the rehabilitation setting, utilizing effective assessment techniques to identify functional limitations and rehabilitation needs.

Create individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation results, incorporating goals tailored to each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation progress.

Utilize a range of treatment modalities, including exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic modalities, to alleviate pain and improve mobility.

Implement and oversee therapeutic exercise programs, instructing patients in exercises that enhance strength and flexibility tailored to their rehabilitation plans.

Document patient progress meticulously using proprietary systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

Advise patients and their families on home exercise programs and self-management strategies to support ongoing rehabilitation after discharge.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in physical therapy by attending workshops and pursuing continuing education opportunities.

You will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors, each presenting unique therapeutic challenges. Our patients often include those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will be critical in helping these individuals regain their independence and improve their overall functionality.

A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.

Proficiency in standard office software and electronic patient management systems.

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is preferred.

Experience working with patients in a home care or rehabilitation facility is highly desirable.

Familiarity with the latest therapeutic techniques and interdisciplinary collaboration is an asset.
