Work Environment

This position offers a full-time, onsite work setting within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in sunny Naples, Florida. The typical work schedule runs Monday to Friday, amounting to a 40-hour workweek, providing a consistent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians to develop effective treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implementing and overseeing individualized treatment programs in various specialty areas, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service by fostering a supportive and engaging environment that promotes patient comfort and adherence to treatment plans.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to leverage evidence-based approaches, maximizing patient outcomes through diverse methodologies and therapeutic techniques.
• Providing compassionate care through home visits when necessary, employing specialized procedures aimed at producing positive changes consistent with the physician's goals.
• Consulting with patients and caregivers, offering education and training that empowers them to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintaining productivity standards and contributing to the operational success of the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic or neurological surgeries. Your role is pivotal in assisting patients of all ages to reclaim their physical capabilities and improve overall well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, though not mandatory.
• A basic life support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for establishing rapport with patients and families.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skillsets to manage documentation and collaborate effectively within the team.

Preferred Experience
