Key Responsibilities\n

• Apply a variety of therapeutic treatment models, including behavior modification, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and brief therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of clients during counseling sessions.

• Supervise and provide clinical oversight to mental health workers and therapy assistants, ensuring high-quality care standards are met.
\n
• Collaborate with other community professionals to develop integrated cross-system plans for individuals, facilitating a holistic approach to treatment.

• Conduct assessments to determine clients' initial treatment needs, formulate diagnoses in accordance with DSM-V standards, and create comprehensive treatment plans aligning with best practice guidelines.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations, evaluating the urgency of patients’ needs and coordinating the necessary services to ensure immediate care.

• Deliver training and education on clinical topics to team members and the wider community, enhancing the team's capacity to deliver informed mental health support.

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients with complex or co-occurring diagnoses, providing tailored therapy and interventions across various settings.

• Utilize electronic medical records efficiently to document patient interactions and maintain accurate, confidential client records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves maternal clients and individuals from medically underserved populations. Our focus on the social determinants of health means understanding the broader contexts affecting mental health outcomes, allowing you to engage meaningfully with clients facing unique challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).

• An independent license to practice in Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage substantial caseloads and interface effectively with various healthcare providers and support staff.

• Exceptional communication skills, both in electronic forms and face-to-face interactions.

• Proficiency in utilizing Windows applications and electronic medical records for client documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices in treatment, ensuring that interventions are grounded in research and proven outcomes.

• A background in community health initiatives or experience working with diverse populations is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 – 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
