Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the physical condition and symptoms of patients before developing tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies, including therapeutic exercises and manual techniques to address movement dysfunction.
• Educate patients and families on proper exercise regimens, modifying activities to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Utilize devices like wheelchairs and walkers, providing guidance on their safe and effective use when necessary.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on response to therapy.
• Advise families about in-home treatment options and long-term strategies for maintaining health and mobility.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient rehabilitation and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.

• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique demands of each patient in their home setting.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically within home health or outpatient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, accompanied by a robust benefits package designed to support your well-being and career development.
