Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Deliver direct mental health treatment, which includes screening, evaluating, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing age-appropriate psychotherapy strategies and psychoeducation to assist clients in understanding their emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate with families, childcare providers, educators, and various community professionals to coordinate services and create a multi-systemic support network for children and families.

• Incorporate principles of Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) and Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) into your therapeutic practice.

• Document treatment sessions, evaluations, and progress notes efficiently using our electronic medical records system, ensuring compliance with ethical and policy standards.

• Participate in clinical supervision and quality assurance review of documentation while keeping track of your personal development goals.

• Contribute to the ongoing training of your peers by sharing your specialized knowledge and experience in addressing client needs, particularly for children and adolescents.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on providing mental health services to a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, families, and adults who may be experiencing complex mental health issues or emotional difficulties. Your work will be critical in fostering resilience and facilitating recovery through structured therapy sessions that address various therapeutic needs, from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges and family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate holds an independent license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) and possesses a Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a passion for impacting lives through behavioral care, possess strong case management capabilities, and exhibit excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience\n

Successful applicants will have experience managing a diverse caseload and interfacing effectively with larger providers and support staff. Proficiency in using electronic medical records, communication tools, and Windows applications is essential. Previous experience in a community health setting or a similar environment is highly regarded.
