LifeMotion Physical Therapy and Balance Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our expert team in Alexandria, Virginia. In this full-time position, you will be an essential partner in our patients' recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster their rehabilitation journey, improve their mobility, and enhance their quality of life.

Our dedicated team works collaboratively to provide the highest standard of care while restoring function and mobility to our community members.

Work Environment

This on-site role is housed within our state-of-the-art outpatient facility located in Alexandria, Virginia. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in a dynamic and collaborative setting where each therapist is empowered to utilize their clinical expertise. Our facility is designed to support a wide array of physical therapy interventions, equipped with the latest therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments to accurately identify patients' physical needs, employing recognized assessment tools and methodologies.
• Develop, document, and execute tailored treatment plans based on individual objectives, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practice standards.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to maximize recovery and restore functional abilities.
• Educate patients and their families about their treatment plans, fostering understanding and engagement to promote adherence and empowerment in the recovery process.
• Coordinate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to deliver comprehensive patient care and enhance outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and treatment notes, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.

You will work with a diverse patient population, treating individuals of all ages with various orthopedic conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• A current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, we also welcome applications from recent graduates eager to advance their careers.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous for maintaining efficient and accurate patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will benefit from a comprehensive package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan with employer matching; and generous paid time off, including 2-3 weeks of vacation.

We are also deeply committed to your professional development and will provide continuing education support ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 for coursework and certifications, ensuring you stay at the forefront of advancements in the field.
