As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Wellcure, you will work in a collaborative remote setting while maintaining close connections with community health professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients, either in their homes or remotely, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote effective therapeutic outcomes.

• Assist children and adolescents in developing essential life skills, including anger management techniques, coping strategies, and social skills, while addressing lower-risk behaviors.
\n
• Work collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other multidisciplinary professionals to formulate treatment plans and ensure a cohesive approach to care.

• Provide insightful recommendations during monthly team meetings, using your expertise to guide therapeutic practices and improve service delivery.
\n
• Complete thorough documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, following clinical guidelines and ensuring timely submissions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving children and adolescents, aged 3 to 20, who experience developmental disabilities and cognitive challenges. Your work will be integral in helping young clients manage their emotional responses, develop positive behaviors, and enhance their decision-making skills. By being responsive to the unique backgrounds and needs of our clients, you will significantly influence their paths toward healthier outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field is required.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours of service per week, particularly during the after-school hours of 4-7 PM, with weekend availability considered an advantage.

• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary to facilitate home visits.
\n
• A successful background check and fingerprinting clearance are required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing positive behavior support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
