Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility provides an onsite, collaborative work environment designed to promote teamwork and communication among healthcare professionals. The work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, to promote recovery.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring ample time and attention is given to each individual's specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Foster patient motivation by providing support, education, and encouragement throughout their recovery process.
• Incorporate cost-effective, non-surgical treatment alternatives to reduce dependence on medications and enhance overall patient wellness.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Network with other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment approach for each patient.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, clinical meetings, and research opportunities.
• Stay updated with the latest physical therapy techniques and industry standards to ensure cutting-edge care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse group of patients seeking rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and sports-related issues. Your role will be essential in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence, ultimately improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a current, active, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Virginia.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings is permitted.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise regimens.
• Proficiency using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for managing patient records and documentation.
• Thorough knowledge and application of evidence-based physical therapy practices to improve patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Proven track record of successful patient outcomes and program development.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 60,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
