Overview DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is hiring a full-time Referral Coordinator to join our Client Experience Team . If you are detail-oriented and have a genuine love of and respect for all animals, we would love to hear from you! About This Position As a Referral Coordinator you will act as a liaison between pet owners, referring veterinarians (rDVMs), and DoveLewis’ Specialty departments. You will be tasked with coordinating appointments, managing medical record communications, and supporting a seamless client experience from check-in to discharge. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an eye for detail and organization and, above all, a genuine love of animals and an appreciation for the human-animal bond. Wage Range: 22-24 hourly depending on experience, education, and certification. Schedule: This position is anticipated to be Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. As you will be working in conjunction with our Specialty departments, the hours will closely align with standard daytime business hours. Qualifications What are we looking for in a candidate? High school diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced administrative, receptionist, or client service role At least 6 months of experience in an emergency or specialty veterinary setting Prior experience using veterinary practice management software required Veterinary assistant experience is a plus Any suitable combination of experience or education may substitute for the above.
