Hands On Portland
Community Resiliency Fair! (age 13+) Referral Strivetoward a more equitable and healthier future for our community! About the Program Community Services Network strives toward a more equitable and healthier future for our community. We partner with other organizations to bring resources and a fun fair to people who need it most. In 2025, we served over 5,000 community members. We could not have done any of it without the help of our volunteers! Volunteering with us makes a huge difference and you can be part of a fun fair while also serving your community. About the Project Our community resource fairs connect community members to vital services. It is a large event with many people coming to gather resources, food, health services, and more. Volunteering at this fair, you might find yourself helping set up the fair, greeting guests, checking people in, serving food, helping with food boxes, or cleaning up. We have various positions and time slots available. Volunteers can gain valuable event experience and a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by low-income and under-resourced individuals. They’ll also learn how resource fairs contribute to community support and engagement. →Sign up here Age: Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 16 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
