Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Jackson Physical Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations by reviewing medical history and performing specific assessments to determine individualized treatment plans.
• Explaining evaluation results and treatment plans to patients and their families, and involving them in the goal-setting process for improved outcomes.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols effectively while adapting to the patient's needs and responding to the evolving healthcare environment.
• Collaboration with other healthcare providers, recognizing changes in patients' conditions, and modifying treatment plans accordingly to optimize care delivery.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress, and discharge plans in compliance with industry regulations.
• Demonstrating effective time management skills to meet productivity standards while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Engaging in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote access to care and enhance the clinic's visibility.
• Contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives while adhering to compliance standards and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
• Pursuing ongoing professional education, serving as a clinical instructor to students, and sharing knowledge within your team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid physical therapy state license as required for Florida.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients and families.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in an orthopedic setting is not required, candidates who have experience working in outpatient rehabilitation or have completed clinical internships in similar environments will be preferred. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
