Key Responsibilities\n

• Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, collaborating with clients to understand their unique circumstances and needs.

• Create, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals and progress.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions, both individually and in group settings, to facilitate healing and growth.

• Assess client progress routinely, and adjust therapeutic approaches based on evolving needs and responses to treatment.

• Document all therapeutic interactions and progress in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Provide referrals to specialists or additional resources if further support is needed by clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with adult clients facing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and more. Through your expertise, you will help clients explore their emotions and develop healthier coping mechanisms. You will also have the opportunity to work with clients dealing with addiction and co-occurring disorders, requiring a trauma-informed and empathetic approach to treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and an understanding of co-occurring disorders.

• Knowledge and implementation of evidence-based practices tailored to substance abuse treatment.

• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with a strong capacity to motivate clients toward achieving their personal goals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The starting salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, you will receive:
