Work Environment\n

As a remote telehealth provider, you will leverage state-of-the-art technology to offer therapy sessions from the comfort of your home, ensuring our clients receive uninterrupted access to mental health care. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients' lives.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, personal goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored specifically for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and self-care strategies to foster better understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor client progress, offering support and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as their conditions evolve.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to each client's treatment.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously refine therapeutic practices.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse client base includes people from various backgrounds, ages, and life circumstances, allowing you to make a meaningful impact across a wide spectrum of mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n
