Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms, determining the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder experiences.

• Collaborate with clients in the development of personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and needs, using a client-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the unique challenges of mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their family members about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies aimed at improving overall well-being.

• Continuously monitor and document clients’ progress, adapting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of integrated and holistic care.

• Stay informed of the latest research in mood disorder treatments, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic practices for better client outcomes.

• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation of therapy sessions, client assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with industry regulations.

• Participate in case consultations, interdisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical competencies and share best practices.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to reduce stigma surrounding mood disorders and promoting mental health resources and awareness in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our typical client base includes individuals struggling with various mood disorders, including but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. As part of our team, you will focus on providing empathetic support to clients facing these challenges, aiding them in navigating their journeys toward recovery and mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Proven expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive patient outcomes within the context of mood disorder treatments.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
