Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Optimum Care Center, your everyday tasks will encompass the following:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify individual mental health needs, followed by developing tailored treatment plans in accordance with best practices.

• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address specific student concerns and facilitate emotional healing and personal growth.

• Maintaining meticulous clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards for client confidentiality and data security.

• Working collaboratively with educational staff, including teachers and school administrators, to coordinate care and share observations that may impact a student’s mental health journey.

• Participating in regular team consultations to discuss case performance and share insights on patient progress, while implementing peer feedback for continual improvement.

• Providing educational resources and support to both patients and their families regarding mental health topics, intervention strategies, and available community resources.

• Staying informed of the latest developments in mental health care to ensure that your practice is optimally informed by current research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and family dynamics. You will be encouraged to engage with not just the students, but their families as well, improving overall mental health support systems within their homes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, emphasizing psychotherapy services to varied populations.
