Work Environment

The work environment at Eden Women's Wellness Clinic is dynamic and collaborative, with a focus on patient-centered care. As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, you will work onsite in a home care facility, interacting daily with patients to assess and meet their needs. Your role will allow you to engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, ensuring that patients receive seamless and coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and detailed health assessments, including the collection of medical histories while adhering to clinic protocols.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to provide specialized women's health services, such as inserting IUDs, placing Nexplanon, performing colposcopies, conducting endometrial biopsies, and managing pessaries.
• Engage in collaborative care with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and consult on complex clinical cases.
• Advocate for patients by addressing their physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive needs, providing holistic support.
• Coordinate patient care effectively, maintaining robust communication with all team members to ensure continuity of services.
• Review and interpret medical records to facilitate follow-up and diagnostic evaluation, adhering to established clinical protocols.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electronic health record systems and telecommunication tools for documentation and communication purposes.
• Apply principles of safety and legal compliance, including adherence to patient confidentiality standards and risk management practices.
• Maintain composure and effectiveness in emergency situations by following established response protocols and promptly notifying the appropriate personnel.
• Foster a service-oriented philosophy in all interactions to provide the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Women's Health Nurse Practitioners at Eden Women's Wellness Clinic cater to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, women in reproductive age, and those in menopause and beyond. You will be responsible for creating individualized care plans that address the unique health issues faced by women while ensuring culturally sensitive approaches to treatment.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active and unrestricted New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) License, along with CDS and DEA certifications.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Eligibility to participate in state programs like Medicare and Medicaid, which facilitates comprehensive patient care options.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with two years or more experience in women’s health will be prioritized. Experience in a similar clinical setting and proficiency in advanced procedures relevant to women’s health are considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
