Work Environment\n

Our work setting is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while embracing a collaborative approach to therapy. Our hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s trauma history and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Design and implement personalized treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery and foster emotional resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients with coping strategies and support as they process their trauma.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in professional development activities and case consultations focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Keep informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is designed for professionals who are passionate about helping patients navigate the complexities of trauma recovery. You will primarily work with individuals suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, empowering them to regain control over their lives and build resilience in a supportive atmosphere.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure counseling experience.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
