Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the needs and concerns of children and adolescents presenting for therapy.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored for developmental stages and family structures.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, particularly during acute mental health emergencies, and make timely decisions regarding treatment adjustments as necessary.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure that treatment approaches are coordinated and comprehensive.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, available resources, and strategies for resilience and recovery.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in ongoing professional development opportunities, case consultations, and team meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on children and adolescents exhibiting a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will engage with young patients and their families to better understand their unique experiences, contributing to better treatment outcomes through a family-centered approach.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
\n
• Experience with providing individual and family therapy to youth populations.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technology for patient care management.

• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience working in a child and adolescent psychiatric or counseling setting is preferred, along with familiarity with telehealth practices. Candidates with additional certification in trauma-informed care or behavioral therapy may be favored.

Compensation and Benefits\n
