Flexibility First Physical Therapy is actively searching for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Herndon, Virginia. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring a focused approach to each patient's needs.

Work Environment

This role will be performed onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate alongside a small yet dedicated team of professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our facility is designed to foster teamwork and efficient workflows, ensuring you have the resources necessary to provide the highest level of care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured routine while contributing to patient wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs, objectives, and priorities, ensuring personalized care plans.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing your full attention to their recovery journey.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer effective and cost-efficient therapies aimed at improving patients' mobility, range of motion, and overall health.
• Develop comprehensive treatment strategies that integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities, enhancing each patient's individual treatment plan.
• Create and monitor customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to optimize recovery and performance for each patient.
• Engage patients with encouragement and support, fostering their motivation throughout the treatment process to achieve optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and effective communication about treatment progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services provided, ensuring compliance and high standards of care.
• Evaluate patient outcomes consistently, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We cater primarily to individuals with private medical insurance who require rehabilitation services for a variety of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and post-surgical recovery. Our focus is on empowering patients to regain their independence and improve their quality of life through individualized treatment programs designed to address their unique challenges and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement specific exercise programs for diverse patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly with platforms like WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
