Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct preliminary interviews to assess clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health and document findings meticulously from the initial consultation through to treatment completion.

• Evaluate and interpret psychological tests and diagnostic assessments to inform treatment decisions and ensure accurate diagnoses.
\n
• Develop comprehensive intervention and recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions and dynamic group therapy interventions that encourage participation and healing.
\n
• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting plans and approaches as needed to meet evolving challenges.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health specialists, medical doctors, and social workers to design and implement cohesive treatment plans that address all aspects of a client’s well-being.

• Maintain consistent follow-up with psychiatrists and attend to any necessary coordination for clients admitted to the hospital, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify barriers to recovery and employ strategies to mitigate adverse behaviors, fostering a supportive space for healing.

• Assist family members and caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges, providing education and counseling as needed.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing a strong history in client care.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to effectively document and manage patient information.
\n
• A thorough understanding of the relationship between mental health and addictions, as well as underlying physical health conditions.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for clear and effective interactions with clients and team members.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with an empathetic nature, essential for building rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus as part of our commitment to attracting top talent.
