Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions remotely for clients in various settings, providing flexible scheduling options to accommodate families’ needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients develop anger management skills, coping mechanisms, and social skills while reducing high-risk behaviors.

• Collaborate closely with primary caregivers and the Child Family Treatment Team to develop practical strategies and interventions that address specific behavioral challenges.

• Document all aspects of therapeutic sessions meticulously, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance and quality of care.

• Facilitate monthly team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and align on treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents aged 3-20 who are facing developmental and intellectual disabilities. Your efforts will directly impact their quality of life by addressing behavioral issues and equipping families with the necessary tools to support their loved ones effectively. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely-related field is required.

• A valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle are required for potential in-person client meetings.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is necessary for employment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
