Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for clients, ensuring that therapy strategies are tailored to meet specific needs.
• Deliver effective therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, family counseling, and couples therapy, promoting open dialogue and support among participants.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and facilitating seamless continuity of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops, seminars, and conferences to stay updated on best practices and mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on diverse individuals and groups within the La Porte community, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients toward recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Texas is necessary before commencing employment.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical or community setting.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in the mental health field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

High Point Advance Medical PC offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional bonuses are available based on performance.
