Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will be tasked with:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitating therapeutic sessions with couples and families, employing a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Providing individual therapy as needed, addressing issues such as communication difficulties, grief and loss, and family conflicts.

• Utilizing telemedicine tools for virtual therapy sessions as well as offering in-person consultations when appropriate.
\n
• Documenting client progress thoroughly in our electronic health records (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings and training to exchange insights on best practices and enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on assisting couples and families dealing with various challenges, such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
\n
• Experiences of physical and psychological abuse.
\n
• Grief and loss related to significant life changes.
\n
• Conflict resolution among family members, including siblings and couples.
\n
• Adaptation challenges associated with separation, divorce, or remarriage.

• Support for blended families navigating new dynamics.
\n
• Addressing job stress and medical issues that impact the family unit.
\n
• Enhancing communication skills among family members to foster healthier relationships.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
