Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' specific goals and requirements, developing customized therapy plans that cater to their individual conditions.
• Manage a steady caseload, typically serving one patient per hour, ensuring focused and quality care during each session.
• Implement cost-effective therapies that prioritize functional independence, aiming to reduce reliance on medication and minimize the need for surgical interventions.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques to improve patient's mobility, including but not limited to manual therapy, stretches, and exercise regimens.
• Encourage patients' adherence to treatment plans through motivation and support, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Maintain clear documentation of patient care services and outcomes to ensure transparent communication within the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for every patient.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly, modifying care plans as necessary based on patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Serenity Motion Therapy, you will work predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. Your ability to connect and build rapport with patients will be vital in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals, while also promoting a healthier lifestyle through physical activity and education.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Unblemished professional record, free from any disciplinary actions or complaints against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and patient education regarding rehabilitation processes.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, with a preference for experience using WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective patient exercise protocols.
• Strong background in rehabilitation for diverse patient populations, including post-surgical cases.

Compensation and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
