Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Bonita Springs, Florida. The work schedule consists of approximately 40 hours per week, with variable weekends based on patient needs and departmental requirements. Our facility is designed to promote healing and rehabilitation, equipped with state-of-the-art tools and resources to facilitate effective therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations to assess functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide expert consultation to medical professionals regarding each patient's continuum of care, ensuring integrated and cohesive treatment approaches.
• Maintain clear and accurate patient documentation, treating and billing information per established regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in collaborative clinical meetings with your interdisciplinary team, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on patient care strategies.
• Lead community outreach initiatives and participate in quality improvement projects to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants and aides, fostering professional development within the team.
• Regularly evaluate and re-assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and stay current with industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Healthactions, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain issues. Your ability to tailor therapy interventions to meet the needs of patients from various backgrounds will be essential in supporting their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in computer applications for word processing and documentation.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting is preferred, equipping candidates with a wealth of knowledge regarding treatment methodologies, patient engagement strategies, and best practices for improving patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Healthactions Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
