Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health assessments to understand clients' backgrounds, challenges, and goals, documenting findings meticulously from consultation to treatment conclusion.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health using evidence-based methodologies and clinical judgment, ensuring comprehensive care.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored intervention and recovery plans that address their specific needs, encompassing individual, couples, family, and group therapy.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that foster personal growth, emotional intelligence, and social skills.

• Continuously monitor clients' progress against treatment goals and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals who may struggle with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction disorders. Your role will involve engaging with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally sensitive and gender-responsive care tailored to their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly experience with platforms like AVATAR.
